When there is so much to worry about and grieve, I strive to maintain an attitude of gratitude and find moments to smile or laugh. When quarantining first began, I looked forward to Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show: Home Edition with his wife on camera and their little daughters. My favorite Food Network show, The Kitchen, has each of the chefs filming from their homes and backyards--families and pets included, and we, the fans, love it!
My son and his family have had getaways to beaches and hiking trails where social distancing and masks are uncomplicated accommodations for safety in a pandemic! I asked if anyone else was on the beach and he explained that others were there but they had plenty of room to social distance themselves. I'm going to make a photo collage of our grandchildren on the beautiful beaches. Our daughter is grateful her two little girls (7 months and 2 1/2) are used to staying home--not much has changed in their daily routines!
Recently, I have been thrilled to see this blog site evolve into a website. I love the different pages and testimonials and photos. For best results, check it out on a computer, laptop, or notepad. My clever web designer created moving parts--pieces move in and out and up and down. In another development, I have an ad in The New York Review of Books. You'll see it when you scroll down my website HOME page.
